Remember, this is for old fans and new ones so they're going to price their new game accordingly. It's been overhauled to be essentially a new AAA game and thus it shares the price of one. The price point is for all the improvements and remaking the game. Plus, given the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ state this port is already in, imagine how bad it would be if they focused on multiplayer too If they do make the new multiplayer game then it will likely have tons of new stuff in it to make it a more fleshed out experience (assuming they don't ♥♥♥♥ it up). Also, if the multiplayer is working fine on the remaster (which it is) then there isn't really a need for them to remake the multiplayer and just keep double the servers up for the same amount of players.
